The 39th International Conference on Computer Animation, Social Agents, and Extended Reality (CASAXR 26) will be held on June 1-3, 2026, in Geneva, Switzerland. The conference is organized by the University of Geneva. Founded in Geneva in 1988 by the Computer Graphics Society (CGS), CASA is the oldest international conference in computer animation and social agents in the world.
In the past few years, CASA has been held in Europe, Asia, North America, and Australia. CASAXR 26 will provide a great opportunity to interact with leading experts, share your own work, and educate yourself through exposure to the research of your peers from around the world. Authors will have the option to present their paper either in person or online.
Paper submission
We invite submissions of research papers on a broad range of topics, including but not limited to Virtual and Extended Reality, Computer Animation, Embodied Agents, Social Agents, and Visualization.
All papers selected for CAVW journal will go through further revision by CAVW editors.All accepted papers will be published in the journal CAVW (Computer Animation and Virtual Worlds) published by Wiley.
IMPORTANT: there will be a CASAXR26 second call for papers to be launched on March 30, 2026, for shorter papers and workshops to appear in a Springer book after the conference. For whose who do not meet the first deadline, there is another chance to submit their paper and present it to CASAXR26.
