Prof. Tosiyasu L.Kunii
Hosei University, Kanazawa Institute of Technology, University of Bradford, The University of Tokyo
Prof. Rae Earnshaw
University of Bradford, UK
Prof. Nadia Magnenat-Thalmann President of CGS
MIRALab, University of Geneva, Switzerland, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore
Prof. Daniel Thalmann
Épolytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland
CGS has founded 4 conferences:
Computer Graphics International (CGI)
Computer Animation and Social Agents (CASA), formerly named Computer Animation (CA)
Pacific Graphics (PG)
MultiMedia Modeling (MMM)
Currently, two conferences are organized each year by the Computer Graphics Society:
The Computer Graphics International conference (CGI) that was founded in 1983 by Prof. Tosiyasu L. Kunii in Tokyo, Japan
The Computer Graphics International (CGI) is one of the oldest annual international conferences on computer graphics. It is organized by the Computer Graphics Society (CGS). Researchers across the whole world are invited to share their experiences and novel achievements in various fields – like computer graphics and human-computer interaction. Former conferences have been held recently in Ottawa, Canada; Bournemouth, England; Hannover, Germany; and Sydney, Australia.
The Computer Animation and Social Agents (CASA) conference, formerly named Computer Animation (CA), that was founded in 1988 by Prof. Nadia Magnenat-Thalmann in Geneva.

Steering Committee
A steering committee (SC) of the CGS is composed of members, mostly who have organized the conferences in the past. It decides about the strategy of the CGS and the operations of its governing conferences. The SC also coordinates and maintains the CGS Membership that are offered to all participants to the CGS conferences. The SC requests a proposal including conference and program chairs proposals, keynote speakers, financial budget and dates to be submitted to the SC no later than 14 months before the date of the proposed conference.
